The Threat Assessment Response Potential Program
As an expert on personal security, Maha Guru Jerry McCleary has developed a program for organizational training. These group seminars are customizable for any group:
Safety First- A Realtor’s Guide to Conducting Business in a Dangerous World
Guru McCleary’s lecture series has been adopted by regional real estate boards as a developmental training option for its members.
This course has far-reaching benefits that extend beyond a Realtor’s job performance as he or she navigates a dangerous world while performing the myriad daily tasks associated with being a real estate professional. Attendees will learn how they can protect themselves and their clients while boosting their own confidence as they discover how to situate themselves and their clients in a sale environment, how to identify possible threats from predators and/or hostile environments, how to recognize areas of concern, and how to better read people (including potential clients) and their intentions.
Realtors will learn there is a time to simply say “NO” when safety is a concern. Realtors who understand how to keep themselves and their clients safe do everyone a great service. Once attendees complete this course, they will understand how to help a client set up an open house, what not to do during an open house, how to assess situations they consistently find themselves in to ensure they are prepared to stay out of harm’s way, and how to assess other threatening situations for both themselves and their clients, including weather, animals, etc. This class reflects many aspects of NAR’s safety program and works well in conjunction with it.
